Sunday Experience

JOIN US SUNDAY

Most Sundays, we offer three worship services at UPUMC. Our morning Sanctuary worship services at 8:45 and 11 AM are traditional and liturgical. Our evening Upper Room Worship service is at 5:15 PM in the Youth Center and is contemporary. You will experience Bible-centered worship that challenges and inspires through scripture, sermon, and music in all of UPUMC's worship services. We hope you will join us this Sunday!

WORSHIP SERVICES

8:45 AM - Traditional worship service with Holy Communion in the Sanctuary

11:00 AM - Traditional worship service in the Sanctuary and Online (Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month)

5:15 PM - Upper Room Worship (Contemporary) in the Youth Center (first Sunday only in June, July, and August)

SUNDAY SCHOOL

9:45 - 10:45 AM  |  Sunday morning classes for children, youth, and adults 

We offer a variety of Sunday school classes that seek to bring faith to life through Biblical study, fellowship, service to others, and support for each other.  If you would like to speak with someone about visiting a class or would like a member to host you, please contact Christy Baker (cbaker@upumc.org or 214-368-1435 ext. 116).

COMMUNION

Holy Communion is served every Sunday at the 8:45 AM worship service and the first Sunday of each month during the 11:00 AM worship service. 

CHILDCARE

All children are welcome to UPUMC's worship services!

But we provide child care during worship services for those too young to participate happily. By age 5, most children are ready and able to participate with their families in worship. We provide activity folders at all sanctuary entrances for children to use during the service. The Sanctuary service at 11 AM has a Children's Message except on Holy Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of the month). Childcare is available from 8:30 AM - 12:15 PM for infants through 4 years old.
