Welcome

Columbarium & Memorial Garden

The Columbarium at University Park United Methodist Church offers a sacred and peaceful place for remembrance, reflection, and prayer. Located in a beautifully designed outdoor setting near the main entrance, the columbarium features 245 niches, providing a meaningful resting place for loved ones within the life of the church community.

This serene space has been thoughtfully created to invite quiet reflection and spiritual connection. Visitors will find a gentle fountain, comfortable benches, sacred prayer elements, and a stunning stained-glass wall—all contributing to an atmosphere of peace and reverence. Whether you come to remember a loved one, spend time in prayer, or simply seek a moment of stillness, the columbarium offers a welcoming place to pause and reflect.

Each niche includes an engraved granite plaque, which can be personalized with names, dates, and a meaningful message of your choosing—creating a lasting tribute to those you hold dear. Niches allow space for 2 urns.

The columbarium is open to visitors 24 hours a day, allowing you to visit whenever you feel called. It is conveniently accessible from the covered entry on the south side of the main entrance, as well as through the adjacent Wesley Chapel. The chapel itself is available for memorial services and provides a direct connection to the columbarium space, offering a seamless and sacred setting for honoring life and faith.

Rooted in faith and community, the UPUMC Columbarium is a place where memory, hope, and the promise of eternal life are gently held together.
