UPUMC Youth Summer Trip
June 14-21
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! This summer, our youth will travel through New Mexico and Colorado to explore breathtaking sights, grow in faith, and enjoy meaningful time together with God and one another.
MORE THAN A FUN TRIP: Throughout the trip, we will be exploring what Scripture tells us about God’s creation and our role as the next generation of care givers to our land!
COST PER STUDENT: $500 dollars per student. There will be a “sliding scale” for families with more than one student There are also scholarships available!
HOW WILL WE GET THERE? We will be renting two, fifteen passenger vans, and driving the entire trip until Denver! If there are not enough students to justify two vans, we may rent one, or rent smaller vans and/or SUVs for the trip!
WHERE WILL WE BE STAYING? Over the course of the trip, we will be staying in Air B&Bs. We will have two locations for our female and male students and chaperones. The locations will be close to each other for safety and logistical efficiency!
CAN MY STUDENT BRING A FRIEND? Yes! Any of our students can bring friends on this trip. They will have to pay the full $500 dollars for the trip and will be expected to be present for any and all fundraising opportunities!
TIME LINE: We will need to know by Sunday, November 23rd, if your student will be coming on this trip with us. By Friday, December 19th, we will need a %50 down payment ($250) to secure your spot moving forward unless a prior conversation with us has been had.

YOUTH OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
As disciples of Jesus, we want to seize opportunities that engage us with the world and allow us to transform our lives and those we meet each day. God grants us opportunities to serve among friends, families, schools, and other communities. We have several ways in which UPUMC youth give back and share God's love with our community. If you are interested in helping us serve our community, please get in touch with Rev. Colin Craft.
