Adult Sunday School
UPUMC's Sunday school classes focus on deepening your knowledge and understanding of the Bible. Each class is designed to use teachers, guest speakers, video and other resources to help members grow together in God's word. Classes are based on life stages so that each class can share common experiences and connections that allow them to grow together as a church family.

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

John Wesley
The John Wesley class is a relaxed, discussion-based Sunday school class for adults primarily in their 20s-30s, including singles, couples, and married couples. The class is conversational - creating an easy, welcoming environment where everyone participates and learns together. Deep knowledge is not required! Discussions often blend scripture with current events, book or study series, and real-life questions about faith and daily life. The class meets on the 2nd and 4thSundays each month, and joins with the Mosaic class on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of each month. For more information, contact Rev. Mosaic
Mosaic consists of couples and singles, primarily in their 30s through 50s. This class is deeply committed to community, teaching, missions, and prayer. We are excited to have recently incorporated the John Wesley class into our class discussions every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of the month. Class discussions include Bible study, life and faith topics, and guest speakers, while our fellowship thrives through regular social activities and service opportunities.
New Beginnings & Revelations
Revelationss and New Beginnings is a group of professional couples and singles in their 40s and 50s with college, teen, older elementary, and middle school children and youth. Members share in teaching the lesson or inviting speakers. The curriculum is Bible study and related topics. In addition to Sundays, they gather socially and participate in church and community outreach projects, and Sunday lunches
Sisters of Susanna
This multi-generational family of primarily women seeks to share faith and walk together with our Lord. The class is mainly teacher-led, with occasional guest speakers and lively discussions. Once a month, they gather together after Sunday worship to share a meal.
55+ ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Collage
Collage is a diverse, welcoming class of couples and singles ages 70+. Collage is an easy-going group that is friendly and enjoys having visitors join their Sunday school class. They are friends who keep each other uplifted in prayer and support. Sunday lessons are scripture-based, with a mix of lectures and lively discussions.
New Life
This group of couples and singles age 60+. Most have children who are post-college, married, and single. Many members have joyfully been inducted into life's ’next phase’ - grandparenting! Our class nurtures the spiritual growth of its members through our study, outreach, and fellowship together.
Seekers
This multigenerational Bible study group is committed to strengthening their faith and relationship with God and their neighbors in daily living. The Seekers believe the nurturing and support of every class member to be very important and enjoy weekly interaction and periodic social events.
