Who We Are

Sunday Experience

Our traditional worship services are held in our Sanctuary where you will experience Bible-centered worship that both challenges and inspires through scripture, sermon and music. We hope you will join us this Sunday.

Due to the rise in COVID-19 infections, UPUMC requires all, vaccinated and unvaccinated, with the exception of children under the age of two, to wear a mask when they are in the church building.

8:45am Traditional worship service with Holy Communion in the sanctuary

11:00am | Traditional worship service in the sanctuary

9:45am - 10:45am | Sunday morning classes

We offer a variety of Sunday school classes that seek to bring faith to life through Biblical study, fellowship, service to others, and support for each other.  If you would like to speak with someone about visiting a class or would like a member to host you, please reach out to Christy Baker at 214-368-1435 ext. 116 or cbaker

Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of each month during the 11:00am worship service.

All children are welcome in the worship services of UPUMC.

But for those too young to participate happily, we provide child care during worship services. By age 5, most children are ready and able to participate with their families in worship. An activity folder is provided at all sanctuary entrances for children to use during the service. There is a Children’s Message at both services, except on Holy Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of the month).  Child care is available for babies and toddlers from 8:30am to 12:00pm.
