Welcome! Our Young Adult Ministries are intended for college students and young professionals— single, dating or married, new to town or longtime resident. All are welcome! Our program includes Sunday school, Wednesday night dinner, and lots of opportunities for fellowship and service. (Check out this fall's events in the sidebar.) Come if you don't know what it means to be a United Methodist. Come to explore your faith. We are open and welcoming to all, no matter where you are in your journey. Get Connected! 1. Sunday School Weekly Events Sunday School: Join us every Sunday, 9:45 a.m., room 265. Check out the schedule of topics. Sunday Lunches: Check out the schedule Every Wednesday: UPLift (dinner and small group study) Special Opportunities Sept. 9, 6:30-8 p.m.: Young Adult Council meeting. Sept. 14, noon: Lunch at church!Oct. 2-6: Amigas de Amor. Interested in building homes in Juarez? This amazing opportunity provides women with a chance for fellowship and service together. Oct. 14: 6:30-8 p.m.: Young Adult Council meeting. Oct. 18: Habitat for Humanity day! Come and build with us! We'll meet at the church for coffee and doughnuts at 7:30 a.m., carpool to the worksite and return to the church at 4 p.m. Lunch is provided. Oct. 24, 6:30 p.m.: Dinner and a movie. We'll meet at Patrizio's in Highland Park Village for dinner and then head over to the theater. Nov. 11: Young Adult Council meeting, 6:30-8 p.m. Nov. 15: Volunteer with Stewpot, an organization that serves three meals a day to over 700 people. We're serving dinner. We'll meet at the church at 5 p.m. and return by 8 p.m. Join us! Dec. 4, 7 p.m.: Holiday potluck at Blair's house. Before all the parties of the season get going, show off your cooking or food-buying skills by bringing a dish to share. Contact Blair for directions. Dec. 20, 8:30 a.m.-noon: Volunteer at the North Texas Food Bank. We'll meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. before heading over.
