Worship Services

University Park United Methodist Church offers three worship services each Sunday morning. Enjoy either a traditional, Bible-centered worship experience that challenges and inspires through scripture, sermon and song, or enjoy an energetic, scripture-based contemporary service in a casual, friendly setting.

If you cannot make it to church in person, experience sermons from both the traditional and contemporary services online.

Join us as we consider
Five Practices

Through May 11, sermons in both our traditional and contemporary worship services will center on the ideas in Bishop Robert Schnase's book, "Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations."

Each week, join us in one of three sermon discussion groups that will meet in the Caldwell Room:

  • 7-8 a.m. Mondays, led by Jeff McCormick and Wynn Moore
  • noon-1 p.m. Tuesdays led by the Rev. Rebecca Frank and the Rev. Rachel Baughman
  • 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays led by the Rev. Leighton Bearden and the Rev. Dick Wilson

Children and youth have their own opportunity to participate in a group study of the five practices each Wednesday in the Youth Center:

  • 5-6 p.m. - Kids in Action for preschool through fifth grade
  • 6-7 p.m. - Dinner with kids, youth and parents. Please bring $3 each.
  • 7-8 p.m - Youth discussion group (sixth through 12th grade)
