United Methodists are very intentionally connectional people. We want to help connect people’s passions with the needs of others. At University Park UMC, we are committed to this, whether it’s connecting people with needs in the neighborhood, or places around the world. We stand by to help you get better acquainted, acclimated - connected - to the calling God has within your life. Your presence is a gift to our church family. My prayer is that our church family will be a gift to you.

Peace and Blessings,
Dr. Keith Boone
Senior Pastor

About Worship:

University Park United Methodist Church offers a traditional service where you'll experience Bible-centered worship that both challenges and inspires through scripture, sermon and music.

About Sunday School:

University Park United Methodist Church offers a variety of Sunday school classes for people of all ages. From birth through adulthood, our Sunday school classes seek to bring faith to life through Biblical study, fellowship, service to others, and care and support for each other. Whether a child or student, married or single, with or without children at home, church member or guest, we provide support and a firm foundation for a Christian lifestyle.

All Sunday School classes meet  from 9:45-10:45 a.m., between our two worship services. Most children's classes meet on the first floor, and most adult classes are on the second floor. Guests are always welcome. If you'd like to speak with someone about visiting a class or would like a member to host you, please call us at 214-368-1435.

Forward Together

This fall, UPUMC launched the Forward Together campaign to eliminate outstanding debt, provide for improvements to our sanctuary, set aside resources for a building fund, and expand our outreach to our neighbors through new and innovative ministry initiatives.

Half of our neighbors in North Dallas and the Park Cities do not have a connection to a faith community or a relationship with our loving God.  You probably can think of people in your own life—co-workers and colleagues, or perhaps close friends and loved ones—who do not have a church home. Can you imagine what would be possible if during each of the next 7 years we reached 3,000 of these people?  By 2025, our church would have touched the lives of 20,000 neighbors.  Or imagine this: If during each of the next 7 years, we reached 3,000 people per year, brought 10 percent of those individuals to visit our church, and welcomed just 10 percent of those visitors as active households, then by 2025, our church family would have doubled in size.

As a faith community, our congregation has joined to ask ourselves individually and as a church, Lord, what do you want to do through me?  Many families in our church have felt God’s call for how they might participate in the Forward Together campaign—many more continue to pray and listen for that still small voice, helping them to understand what God wants for their lives.

As we consider how to answer God’s call to share the love of Jesus Christ with others in our lives, please consider participating  in the Forward Together campaign.

Thank you for prayerfully considering the Forward Together campaign and for your membership in University Park United Methodist Church.
